Hi! Longtime-somewhat-lurker. Just wanted to say that I just made Butterick 5601, too, and I put in all the changes you made from your post, which make the dress way nicer (thread chains on skirt, fully lined). Thanks so much for sharing! I couldn’t put the button as far in as I would have liked because it pulled at the front strap in a weird way. I also had some issues with the back bodice (where the zipper ends) gaping, so I moved the zipper in a little.
