Instead of sewing, I spent the whole week playing with my new iPhone. But it is so easy to make cute pictures with this little thing! >_<
To make myself feel better, I promised to start on this vintage seventies Simplicity 6108 next week. I need more separates in my wardrobe and a pair of simple straight or wide leg pants seems perfect.
Making pants is something that I’m not very confident of, there are so many fitting issues to tackle. I hope after making several fitted pants for my husband, I will be able to make a pair for myself with decent fit.
The fabric is leftover from my husband’s birthday pants. Of course I’m not planning to wear the pants together with him, although the idea of having matchy-matchy pants is kinda cute!
Good luck with the trousers. I’ll be making short pretty soon. I’ve never made shorts before, let’s hope it will turn out nice
What a coincidence Novita! I just got my very first Iphone on the weekend, too! Unfortunately I can still not activate it, because I have to wait for my micro-sim card. Anyway, can’t wait to try and play with it! 😀
